* LAST OPEN WATER FISHING REPORT OF THE SEASON
* ICE FISHING REPORT WILL BEGIN AROUND JANUARY 1ST

Canyon Ferry: Rainbow fishing has been hot throughout the reservoir from shore. Shore anglers are doing well at Confederate, the North end of the Silo’s and around Pond 4. Worms and marshmallows or woolly buggers are working best. Overall, folks have traded their rods for rifles, as the General Hunting Season opened over two weeks ago. This is the last fishing report of the open water fishing season. The next report will be around January 1st, 2010. Adam Strainer, FWP, Helena
